FULL BODIED I

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air. Voices mingle with quiet conversation as people meet, exchange ideas and connect. Music becomes the starting point for meaningful encounters.

Under the title Coffee Cantata, Musica Viva, the Festival for Curious Ears, presents a special concert series featuring choirs from Osnabrück. Four ensembles each perform a programme of around thirty minutes, exploring choral music from different centuries. Early music meets contemporary listening, tradition encounters new perspectives. The result is a series of musical spaces that awaken curiosity and bring people of all generations together.

The venue is the Museum of Industrial Culture in Osnabrück. Within its remarkable industrial architecture, history and the present day enter into a natural dialogue. The interaction of music, space and conversation opens new ways of listening and invites audiences to rediscover familiar sounds from a fresh perspective. The museum café is an integral part of the concept. One hour before and after each concert, there is ample time to meet, talk and enjoy a cup of coffee together.
