Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti were inspired by the city beneath Mount Vesuvius, as were many of the poets and writers of their time. The Neapolitan canzone became the musical voice of an entire region. Its melodies are characterised by infectious rhythmic vitality and an irresistible joy of music making.

Originally trained as a dancer, Vincenzo Capezzuto still brings that physical artistry to every performance. Every gesture seems to arise naturally from the music itself.
